Double Bar Postage Due 3c on a 4c 1937 Postage Due
with Two Hand-Drawn Deleting Bars
Since the first day of issue of the Double-bar Postage Due has not been clearly established to date,
philatelists may content themselves with this Severino Luna October I 1942 cancelled Double-bar.
It is a prototype of subsequent Double-bar and Single-bar FDC's.
Mr. Severino M. Luna, a much-respected stamp collector/dealer, claims that the Postage Due was affixed to his surprise by a postal clerk on a number of green Rizals on envelopes which he left for canceling that he intended as replenishment for his stock.

'Republika' Embossed Postal Envelope with Corner Card
5c Surcharged on 2c envelope of 1935
12 June 1944
This is the scarcest JapOcc postal envelope.
Only 20,000 were produced.

One expects prints of Universal Machine Cancellers to be precise. Notice that the "un" of Jun shown below is badly misaligned. How? As important, by whom?
